Another busy week.

Hi there.  Thanks for stopping by...I think I have been watching too many American utube crafting videos!!!!

Last Monday Ginny had her class when they made two lovely cards inpired by Karli Miranda's blog.  Using the Berry Blossoms and the free Everyday Enchantment papers they really came out very well.

On Thursday it was my turn and I decided to use the new pennant punch and my latest buys the Triple Treat Flower  stamp and matching punch.

These are Rita and Val's (no initials on yet!)

and here are Sue's
and Lynn's.

We had a lovely afternoon  and a great evening and I didn't forget the tea this time either.  We get so engrossed I could do with a tea fairy!!!!

My March crafting classes will be on Monday, 5th March and again on Thursday, 22nd, 1pm and 7pm.  Now that I have everything together in the new workshop it is a real joy to have other crafters round to use the super Stampin'Up products.  There is usually room for one or two more to join us.

No more chat from me for a little while, but we are having a special day on the 31st March, when all crafters will get a free stamp set and a special reduction on a matching punch.  I will be giving out more details nearer the time.

Happy crafting.    Mandy

Hello crafting friends.

We had a super day on Saturday when friends gathered to watch Zoe cut the ribbon and formally "open" my new craft room.

We enjoyed champagne and some lovely cup cakes donated by Dawn, they certainly went down a treat.

After everyone had received a small gift for coming along, we settled down for an afternoon's card making.

First there was a lovely birthday card inspired by one I saw on the blog Hau to Craft.  Here is Sue's card.

Certainly very dramatic using Whisper White and Calypso Coral.

Then Ginny introduced everyone to the really super 'Spice Cake' paper to make this lovely card.

After a good lunch we settled down to making a calendar with Ginny. This is Rita's, made using the Paisley Petals DSP and the new Lace Ribbon Border punch.

The last two items we made that day were a really fabulous card which I had seen on the internet but I am sorry I can't remember where.  We used the delicate 'Charming' stamp set from the mini catalogue, this is Mary's card made using Night of Navy and Marina Mist card stock.  And finally we made this useful little basket...just imagine it filled with Easter eggs or other tempting chocolates!!

It was a lovely day and I made some little thank you cards yo send to everyone who had helped it go so well.

Now I have begun to get the hang of organising this blog I think I need to really concentrate on doing the cards justice by taking decent photos!!!   You would never guess that these were made in Pacific Point, Chocolate Chip, Basic Grey and Very Vanilla!!!

Don't forget it's time to SALE-A-BRATE!

If you are wondering what I am talking about, Sale-a-bration is a fabulous Stampin' Up! promotion that allows us all to receive FREE stamps - what could be better and it runs until the end of March.
And for the first time, we have FIVE choices of freebies - 4 stamp sets and 1 set of beautiful Designer Series Paper. Have a look on the website or ring me to have a look at the items on offer.
Better still book a workshop and earn them for yourself.

My next classes in Dunholme are on Tuesday 7th February at 1.30pm or 7pm. Still one or two places left.  Go on, ring now and book a place.

Happy Crafting.   Mandy (01673 860893)
