The other evening Maxine brought some really lovely cards to show us.  It is such a pity that I am unable to produce decent photos but I wanted to show how she has used just two colours of Stampin'Up inks to make her cards to great effect.

I am sorry Maxine that I have not done them justice. You can't even see how the first two have well cut borders along the flowers!!  Mx

I have fallen in love with the fantastic new Stampin'Up Simply Pressed Clay.

It is so simple to produce the pretty flowers which I have used on this card.

Why not contact me and order some of this magic product?  It is really well priced at £6.25 for a big bag.

Disaster......I couldn't find my StazOn Black Ink Pad and I had planned another poppy card which would involve water colouring!!!!  So I compromised and used Versamark and Embossing Powder, but the result was far from subtle.

Not sure why I can't recover the photo....I will try again later!  Mx
At last...here is Mary's card.

Back again and feeling rested and relaxed.  Went to Stampin'Up training in Leeds with Zoe and Emily on Thursday and as usual met some lovely people. Got some great "swaps" too.  Here are mine....

This lovely "swap" was made by Barbara Beck and yes, there is a chocolate in the little packet.!

Unfortunately, no name on the back of this clean and simple card,  but I do love the colour combination of Basic Grey and Pumpkin Pie.

More "swaps" tomorrow,   Mx

A small problem at this end means that there will be no blog for a few days.  I will be back as soon as I get it sorted.  In the meantime any queries should be addressed to Ginny.

Here are some of the cards she has made at her recent workshop....they really are lovely and all made with Stampin'Up products.

Do look on the classes page for details of the Christmas Card Workshops.

Back soon.      Mandyx

Stampin' Up! have announced two new promotions:                                                                                                                      *Best of Christmas" clear stamps to celebrate their 25th year at only £13.95    All the "Best of..." stamps include three that are considered the best of a previously released stamp set plus a new stamp in each set. This set includes the well loved 'Dasher'.
The second promotion is the 15% reduction on the bundle of a Papillon Potpourri stamp set and the Bitty Butterfly punch, normally together they would be £28.20 now, until the end of September only £23.97.                         Email me now to take advantage of either of these offers.
If you have been looking in over the last couple of days you may be wondering where all the scraps came from for yesterdays cards.  I missed one card out of the list which is using very simple shapes of Elegant Eggplant DSP,  the Beautiful Wings sizzlit and the Little Leaves sizzlit.    A quick elegant card, I'm sure you will agree and we had lots of 'bits' left over!

All the card designs made at our all day workshop were cased from Pinterest...what a wonderful website that is for those of us who are not so creative.  Many thanks to all the people who share their ideas.

I personally think this is the best design of all those we did at the workshop.  Here are cards from

Sue

          and

               Paula.

The background is from the Neutrals Designer Paper Pack and the ribbon, unfortunately no longer available, is the Two Tone ribbon from the summer catalogue.
