This is the third and last card we made on Saturday. It was a very pleasant way to spend a Saturday.

Another card

Another card from yesterday, another experiment (for me) using the coloured wax. As you can see I got a bit carried away with the green/blue.  What I did find was that once you put it on, it doesn't come off!  A little at a time would seem to be the answer!

Craft and Chat

Spent a great day at the Craft and Chat group in Lincoln very ably run by Sue Pulford. Today Sue had invited Jo Shannon to run a workshop and we made three very interesting cards.  First time I had come across the coloured wax!!!

A very simple card

This card is similar to one we made a few weeks ago but without the matting and layering.  We used the beautiful Stampin'Up "Papillon Potpourri" stamp set to great effect.

A very warm workshop!

Today we got together, after postponing last week as it was so hot,  and made cards (it was still hot!!)
Here are three....different colours, different ideas, but the same basic card.  We used the Stampin'Up "Mixed Bunch" stamps and the Stampin'Up "Blossom" punch.

I had a lot of 'thank you' cards to make this weekend so I got to work!  

Here are a few, made with Very Vanilla card stock, Midnight Muse ink, retired DSP and two fabulous stamp sets.  
I used the bloom from 'Blooming with Kindness'...what a super stamp that is, and a sentiment from 'Sassy Salutations'...just bought this set at a 25% discount!!!

Home again!

Well, I am back from Harlaxton having spent a few days with friends making cards and learning to fold paper!
 We always put on a display of some of the things we have made for all the other students to "marvel" at! Here are a couple of the displays........

While we were away Zoe our team leader, was obviously flying the flag for us in Utah at the American Stampin'Up Convention.

What a super day!

Good morning everyone, isn't it a "great to be alive" day? It makes everyone feel so much better when the sun shines!
Here is my second card from Zoe's afternoon. We used some of the new Stampin'Up colours, Baked Brown Sugar,Crisp Cantaloupe and Blushing Bride card stock and the lovely new Happy Day stamp set...how appropriate.

Going to be a very busy weekend...I am off to Harlaxton Summer School, Ginny is off to Doncaster Craft Show and Zoe is off to Stampin'Up headquarters in Utah, USA having won a very prestigious incentive award.  I hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys whatever they have planned.  Happy crafting.  Mandy x

An afternoon crafting.

Yesterday we had a very enjoyable afternoon at Zoe's. A few of her team gathered to spend the afternoon creating new designs with the new Stampin'Up in-colours.  The first card will make an excellent "make and take" using the new Best of Butterflies stamp set.

At yesterday's workshop we made LindaBauwin's exploding kite card.  We had a lot of laughs in the process, however, they worked out in the end!!

Unfortunately we ran out of time so the actual card still needs some refinement!

Holes!

I saw a version of this card on Pinterest and so we had a go at today's workshop. It is a great way to use up scraps of designer paper and has possibilities for special occasions by using different shapes or different papers.

We used Stampin'Up Paper Piercing Pack - Essentials to highlight the circles.

Welcome

I cased this super card from 'Stamps to die for' on You Tube.  We will be making it at our workshop this week.
