Pat's folded card using the Stampin'Up stamp set "Pleasant Poppies" is really effective.......

 ..........and Laura's card, too.

They were both coloured using a Real Red marker pen and Papillon Potpourri butterflies completed the design.

Another interesting evening at Zoe's home.  It was good to hear all the tales of her incentive trip and see some of the swaps she got at the American Convention.  More of these later!

I am off to the WI this evening for a last minute demo and make and take, so I am going to demonstrate a super little treat bag I found on YouTube.  I have made one already and filled it with sweets so I will leave that for a raffle prize as there is no specific hostess.

The second card was made using the Stampin'Up 'music' wheel and DSP, 'Afternoon Picnic', a really lovely set of papers, only £9.95 for 12 double sided sheets of quality paper.  

Stampin'Up are currently running a promotion...buy 3 sets of Designer Series Paper and get one FREE.  There are lots of sets to chose from.  Have a look in the catalogue and collect a paper stash for every creative mood.

Cindy's card was made using only Tempting Turquoise card stock along with the two embossing folders. Very effective.  The 'Beautiful Wings' embosslit is a must have for any crafter, a bargain at only £9.95

Didn't quite make Monday or Tuesday, did I????    However, we had a good workshop yesterday and the girls made some super variations on the theme of two colours and two embossing folders.

Chaos!!

Good morning everyone.  My two granddaughters and one boy friend are moving out to a house in Lincoln this weekend, so it is rather hectic here! Will be back on line asap. probably Monday or Tuesday.

A variation

This is a variation on yesterday's card, this time using the Stampin'Up "Beautiful Wings Embosslits", a must have in everyone's stash, along with the "Little Leaves Sizzlits".

Embossing folders

An interesting way to use two of the Stampin'Up embossing folders, combined with some retired card and a stamp set.  However, the idea, cased from Pinterest,  could be made using a variety of Stampin'Up products.

We will be making this card at our workshop on Tuesday.
